Is he on any anti-psychotic meds? Alzheimer's patients will do that and those meds can help control that. Dad was on them for a short period of time, but he was almost comatose. Mom took him off and he's great!

No, no anti-psychotic meds. Just an anti-depressant. He just had a psychiatric evaluation a few days ago and as long as the delusions don't make him dangerous....no drugs given for it to him at this time.

His hallucinations are really getting out of hand. They are negative, ugly false "memories" and are becoming all he wants to talk about. His doctor told us to just "redirect" him onto another subject when he starts talking about his ugly stuff but for the last few days redirecting hasn't been work...
