I have lived an interesting and adventurous life. I've served overseas with the Canadian Army on NATO operations, done archaeological work in the northern interior and central coast of British Columbia, and love scuba diving. My family's Scottish roots come from my great grandfather, Archibald Abbot, on my Nana's side, and from my Nana B. (great grandmother), Flora Gertrude McKinnon, on my granddad's side. Currently I'm living in Vernon, British Columbia, where I work for the Ministry of Forests and soldier as a reservist. I am also a proud member of the local Sons of Scotland, Kildonnan Camp #166.
