My male cousin had his DNA done and it came back as MacGregor from near Stirling, Scotland near the original seat of the Clan MacGregor. He believes that our ancestors were members of the famous Rob Roy MacGregor's Clan but not blood relatives. So we are very proud of our heritage.
We can trace back to Patrick Gregory from Ireland in our genealogy research and his widow Bridget came to America from Belfast, Ireland on the ship Carolina Ann with her children and arrived in New York on April 7, 1826 at the age of 40.
