Great-grandfather (x6), James Denniston I left Scotland around mid' 1760s, ultimately arriving to the York Co, Pennsylvania area.One of his sons, James Denniston II migrated to Ohio around 1808. His grandson Levi H. Deniston (w/ his son, John Ireland Deniston) migrated through Kansas and arrived in Colorado around 1895. At 80 (circa 1921), John Ireland Deniston made it to Santa Barbara, California. Myself, my father, my grandfather, and great-grandfather all were residents of Los Angeles/Long Beach, CA since.
