His family lineage the Nixons line comes from the Nixons who was involved in the Border Reviers along side the Armstrong, the Elliot's and the ...My father who's grandfathers father was born in Ireland. His family lineage the Nixons line comes from the Nixons who was involved in the Border Reviers along side the Armstrong, the Elliot's and the Fraser. My dad had his DNA done to help us fine his line. I submitted to the Border Revier study and have come back with matches from Nixon who also have done their DNA. It was great to learn I actually have Nixons linked to my fathers second wife mother fathers line that have Nixon that were in the Border Revier that link into my fathers line .My dad did not know their were Nixons on that line. So it is a lot of interesting research to me as I look for his ancestors.
