I was born in the hills of southern Ohio in the little town of Ray. I was Dr William O Burt's 2000th delivery. He told my parents that I was the "skinniest" baby he had seen at 61/2 lbs. He ha no idea how odd I would be for the next four years. Not a hair or even a lil fuzz would sprout on my pate until I was two years old. My mother told me that nearly everyone she met wanted to rub my little bald head. At age two my hair appeared and it was as white as snow. It finally changed to dark brown at age four. I've spent a good deal of time on researching this but have not found anything naming it.
I married my high school sweetheart and have a son, a grand daughter and grand son. All of my parents and grand parents have passed. My only sibling is my sister in Louisville.
I served in the U.S. Army for three years including a tour in Vietnam as a corpsman, medic. My next 35 years were spent working in the laboratories of Rohm & Hass Chemical Co. in Louisville KY. I retired on disability in 2004. Exposure to Agent Orange in VN has caused me to have numerous health issues since leaving the military.
The joys in my life are family, friends and the animals. All of the insanity going on in my country and the world frightens me for their welfare in an uncertain future. If we do not find a path to heal our planet and human societies I fear we will not endure for long. jlt

My mother loved movies and took us to a local drive-in often. It became part of me and my sister. I still love a lot of the classic B&W oldies. The list
of favorites is too long to post but a few. Ben Hur, Butterfield 8, The Ten Commandments, Bridge Over the River Kawi, all Boguart films, Star Wars, the
Harry Potter series, and so many more. Gotta love a good story!
My maternal grandmother read to us from the time we were old enough to understand. Sister and me are avid readers. I do not hunt since I left the Army but I like to spend time watching a bobber float. I still target shoot including my bow,swim and play a bit of basketball. The number one interest or hobby
is spending time with and spoiling the children.
My music is rock and roll from the 50's,60's and 70's but there isn't much that I don't like. O.K. Most Rap and it's variations make my ears bleed.
