Hello! I am a lover of cats, comics, and creepy media. I'm also interested in both meeting folks from MacAulay and Gunn, as well as anyone interested in chatting about everyone's stories and experiences regarding their heritage, and any other things near and dear to you.

My mum is a direct descendent of Clan Macaulay on HER mother's side, but I've had relatively little interaction with that aspect of family history throughout life, despite best efforts. I love what little I have found about my MacAulay kin.
After speaking with a representative from the Clan Gunn society in my region, as my surname is a viable sept, I found the folks of Clan Gunn very socially active and inviting.

I'd love to ultimately join a heritage society, but at the moment I feel a bit stuck between the obvious but out-of-reach MacAulay route, or the more technical but active/available connection to the Gunns. In the meantime, I plan to learn as much as I can and hopefully make some friends.

I am here to meet like-minded folks and learn, hopefully touching base with some Gunns and Macaulays along the way.

I'm interested to know if there are many fellow queer Scottish-Americans like myself out and about. LGBTQ+ circles have always been my community in the absence of information on personal Scottish heritage, but I don't see why I can't seek out both.

Scotch recommendations are also always welcome. I adore a good whisky (or even the occasional whiskey!) so long as it does not break the bank. Cat pictures are also welcome. Because they're cute as heck.
