Really disappointed with VisitScotland website search function. It found nil clan gatherings and nil highland games.

I know! that was part of the reasons for creating tartan footprint - there isn't one place that advertises all highland games. Know Visit Scotland are working on a new site - ancestral.com, wonder if it will be on that.

VisitScotland have told me that the reason the clan gatherings do not appear on the events listing page is because in order to appear in the listings, events have to be open to the public i.e. anyone can attend, and we are under the impression that most of these events are only open to Clan members.
