I've never swam in this moat but, I've cooled ma feet aff in it. Maybe how nae fish in it.

Do they stock moats with fish nowadays? I'll bet the ancient people swam in moats.

Don't think they do Marilyn. But there sure is a lot of Frogs around it.

If there are a lot of frogs, then I would think that there are no fish because (if I remember correctly) fish like to eat frogs' eggs and tadpoles. Frogs must be in froggy heaven, having that moat all to themselves.

Iain, if your feet have anything to do with no fish in the moat, then you have some very potent feet! Gave me quite a laugh! LOL.
