ROFL.....SOOOOOO true!!! Gosh, I remember when I use to be able to sit on the floor and jump up to go get something. Now, if I sit on the floor, it takes a whole heap of effort just to help me get back to my feet. If something isn't within arm's reach when I sit on the floor....it's staying "gone...

I use to stay on the eternal diet until I was 50. By then I was so tired of always counting calories and going without favorite foods. I decided to see what weight my body would like to be if I just ate normal meals without worrying about calories. Bad decision. It likes to be fat. Oh well.
Yeah, I'm also on the eternal diet! Can't bear the thought of having to lose it all over again! Feeling good is more important than continually indulging! For now anyway....

But after losing people I've loved, I'd just rather focus on other aspects of myself which define the "real me", rather than dieting to obtain a certain body shape. Just as our bodies change as we age, so do our personalities and characters. As we age, our energies wane and we slowly discover that we can't keep focusing on everything that use to be so important to us. We discover that it's time now to focus on certain, select things and gently let go of other, lesser things.
Marilyn. I have never worried about how people look or how I now look. What is more important is whats in their hearts. And are they decent person. Ian
