Ties and Scarves in The Papal/St Ninians Tartan now on ScotClans
We are now able to offer products in the Papal Tartan also known as St Ninians Tartan. This was the tartan designed for the pope's visit. It was the first-ever tartan created for a Papal visit.
The meaning behind the colour are:
* White line on blue field - represents Scotland's national colours
* Green - reflects lichens growing on stones of Whithorn in Galloway
* White lines with red lines - the colours of Cardinal Newman's crest
* Yellow lines with the white - reflecting colours of the Vatican
