British Dance: Edition 2014

This event brings 350 UK and international dance promoters to Scotland.

Experience the best of Britain's professional dance artists. Between 30 January and 2 February 2014, 350 UK and international dance programmers and presenters will be invited to attend performances, talks, seminars and events which showcase the best professional dance of all styles being made by dance artists from across the UK.

An established industry event, British Dance has run since 1998, raising the profile of British dance artists and creating opportunities for their work to be seen by audiences in the UK and overseas.

The event comes to Scotland for the first time as part of Homecoming Scotland 2014. It will be hosted by Dance Base, Scotland's National Centre for Dance in Edinburgh in partnership with Glasgow's leading dance agencies: Dance House and The Work Room. Approximately 35 companies will be presented over the four days in a variety of venues across Edinburgh and Glasgow, including the King's and Traverse theatres in Edinburgh and Tramway in Glasgow.
