Scottish Clans Golf World Championships 2014

As part of Homecoming Scotland 2014 players of Scottish ancestry can compete at Gleneagles.

The Scottish Clans Golf World Championships are open to golfers from around the world who have ancestral links to Scotland through their past - immediate ex pats or 1st, 2nd, 3rd, generation Scots living abroad. Enter under your clan name and compete for the title of Scottish Clans Golf World Champion over four rounds of golf.

In addition to the golf, the event will provide expertise in genealogy and clans to allow you the opportunity to research your ancestry and learn more about the Scottish clan culture.

This exciting event will also showcase Scotland's culture and heritage with entertainment including pipe bands, Scottish country dancing, ceilidhs, Scottish folk music, Highland games and trips to Scotland's best attractions.

During the championships there will also be the opportunity to dine on Scottish food and drink such as haggis and whisky.
