Celebration Of The Centuries 2014

Celebrating over two thousand years of Scottish history in a colourful, vibrant and immersive way.

As part of Homecoming Scotland 2014, the event will have special emphasis on marking the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War. Reflecting on the events that touched so many lives across the world, Celebration of the Centuries will commemorate this turning point in world history.

The highlight of the event will be the Great War Display Team's recreation of a dramatic aerial dogfight above the Moray Firth. In an exhilarating display the sky will be filled as the allied aircraft tussle with their German counterparts for control of the air. With a cast of over 250 performers bringing history to life, this award winning event promises to excite, inform and entertain.
