Scottish Birdfair 2014
Interested in wildlife? Love the outdoors? There's fun for all the family at the Scottish Birdfair!
As part of Homecoming Scotland 2014, you can get back to nature with the Scottish Birdfair, now in its third year.
The event will take place over two days in marquees on the west lawn of the striking Hopetoun House, near Edinburgh, and caters for a range of tastes, from dedicated birders, to garden birdwatchers and families with an interest in wildlife.
Throughout each day there will be a wide range of informative talks, fun-packed children's activities, guided walks and special workshops, as well as live music and dance.
There will also be plenty to entertain the taste buds with excellent locally sourced foods, not to mention the opportunity to sample some of Scotland's finest whisky and beer.
Join the thousands of visitors in shopping at over a hundred exhibitor stands - explore the latest birding technology, clothing, holidays, optics, literature, art and much more. The Scottish Birdfair is an RSPB-run event, with all proceeds raised supporting Scottish birds and wildlife. Children go FREE!
