Clan Campbell North America Gathering and AGM
April 10th-13th, 2014 Charlotte, North Carolina.
The elegant, historic Dunhill Hotel in Charlotte, NC, will be the site of the 2014 Clan Campbell Gathering and Annual General Meeting. A cocktail reception will be held at the Charlotte City Club on Thursday evening, April 10, with meetings of the Executive Council and of the Board of the Education Foundation on April 11, followed by the awards banquet that evening (catered by the famous Harvest Moon Grille). On Saturday the Clan Campbell is the “distinguished clan” at the Loch Norman Highland Games in nearby Huntersville, NC and the Campbell Commissioners meeting will be held during the games. We have contracted for 15 rooms (though 23 people have formally asked for rooms) in the hopes that everyone who requested a room will register and do so EARLY. The hotel has 60 rooms and they will make them available to additional Clan Campbell AGM participants at the same price so long as there is availability.
The charming Dunhill Hotel is one of Charlotte’s few remaining historic landmarks from a distinctive period in history. The lobby and guest rooms feature elegant 18th-century European furnishings, hand-sewn draperies and original works of art by North Carolina artist Phillip Moose. The Penthouse Suite retains its original marble floor with double balconies offering panoramic views of Charlotte. We invite guests to discover an Uptown Charlotte hotel reminiscent of a bygone era.
The Dunhill’s in-house restaurant, the HARVEST MOON GRILLE, is a result of the hotel’s partnership with Grateful Growers and other local farms. The Harvest Moon has transitioned to a Farm to Fork concept and is excited to now be serving innovative, organic fare!
