Proposed Outline Programme

Friday 18th July

PM Assemble Dorney Hall, Wester Ross

Visit on foot Eilean Donan Castle.

Saturday 19th July

AM Free

PM Attend the Lochcarron Highland Games in the grounds of Attadale House, near Strathcarron.

Sunday 20th July

AM I hope we will be able to hold a Clan Church Service. Sadly I have heard the Lochalsh Parish Church at Kirkton has been closed, but hope a special service can be arranged

PM For those who are fit, visit the site of the old Fort and then the site of the old gathering place at the Southern end of Loch Achaidh na h-Inich

Monday 21st July

AM Move to Easter Ross

PM If there is sufficient interest, visit the site of the Battle of Glenshiel, 10 June 1719

Tuesday 22nd July

AM Assemble Ardross Castle, Clan Council Meeting

PM Parliament, followed by Evening Clan Dinner, Drumossie Hotel, Inverness

Wednesday 23rd July

Disperse.

Extras: Anyone wishing to visit Skye by road before Friday18 July and or Stornoway by air after the Inverness dinner is asked to make his / her own arrangements. If there is a big enough demand then something might be arranged.
