CLAN ARMSTRONG TRUST GATHERING 2013/ NEIL ARMSTRONG COMMEMORATION EVENT
Dumfries and Galloway Council plans to commemorate the life of Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the surface of the moon have now been finalised. Trust Directors Alan Williams and Ian Martin have been involved with the Planning Group run from/by Langholm Town Council and the programme of events is detailed below.
In the absence of a Trust Gathering being scheduled for 2013, the Trust is arranging to hold a Dinner on the evening of Saturday the 15th of June, at the present time it is planned that the Dinner will be held at the Marchbank Hotel, Scots Dyke and when this has been confirmed Trust Members should note that a coach will be arranged to transport diners to and from the Langholm area.
In order that we can arrange adequate seating it would be appreciated if clansfolk could email me on frank.wherrett1@talktalk.net and let me know if you would be able/willing to attend.
