My 2nd great-grandmother was Mary Jane Huston, born in Kilrea, Londonderry, Ireland,in 1819. They emigrated to the U.S. in 1829, and settled in Philadelphia, where John and Elenor later died. Mary Jane Huston married John Kidd in Philadelphia, and he died c. 1859. She, her sister Elenor, and brother Robert Huston and their families moved to Pepin, Wis. sometime before 1870, and remained there or close by, until their deaths.
