Hey to all. I've been tracing my family recently and have discovered that my ancestors are heavily connected to clan Lennox. One of my oldest ancestors is Siward Earl of Northumbria who was the grandfather of Malcom the 3rd and that also in 1070 Arkyll another ancestor fled to Scotland to seek protection from Malcom 3rd and was possibly made the first Mormaer of Levenax (earl of lennox) Any help on any of this would be appreciated and I also have family trees and documented evidence of these "facts" if I can in turn help others. Sadness, I was hoping to find more activity... anyhow, here I am. Having quite a bit of trouble tracing my paternal Lenox history, but I've had some luck tracing the Webster line on my mother's side.

Looks like this group is inactive, but hello to anyone who stops by. I'm a Macalister by marriage and historian for that clan, but my great-grandmother was a Lennox; her great-grandfather was John Lennox who emigrated from Kilrea in Ireland to Simcoe County, Ontario, in the early 1800s. His ancestors are believed to have arrived from Scotland about the time of the Restoration, though I'm not sure what the sources are for this.

Near Kilsyth, Dunbartonshire. Held by several families until latterly by the Lennox family, who gifted the property to the local council in 1937.

The Clans of Loch Lomond include the Clan Lennox, The MacGregor Clan, The Colquhouns, Clan Graham, The MacFarlanes and the Buchanan's to the East of Loch Lomond.
