My Father is Ian Murray, my Grandfather was John Murray and he was born in Campbeltown Scotland. My Great Grandfather was Archibald Murray and he married Margaret McKerral, they moved to Canada when my Grandfather was very young. My Great-Great Grandfather was John Murray married to a McConachie and my Great-Great-Great Grandfather was Peter McKerral married to Mary Curdie. I have just started searching my family heritage and I'm very interested in the Scottish line.

Thank-you for all the information! After they moved to Canada my Grandfather John married Mable Payne and they had 2 children.. Ian (my Father) and Dwyane. I think it's wonderful to have family in another country, if your ever in Alberta, Canada look me up!
Funny I live in Okotoks! My father in law bought some land near the train bridge north of Delburne. I was there two weeks ago. Spent a lot of time on the family farm near lousana when I was younger.. Tell you dad that I am his uncle Allans's son. He will laugh. Probably remembers me as wee Bobby.
