The design was meant to use a darker blue, close to navy. First weaving was as above but now using the darker blue which brings out the green more.

I think that it is a beautiful tartan.

The woven tartan is available at St Kilda Retail Australia in Booval Queensland.

Thanks Malcolm. Unfortunately, I'm part of the American Edmonstones and so I'm not very close to Queensland, Australia. I have ordered some actual tartan from Scotclans.com

Tell them you want the darker blue. They are unlikely to have any in stock. Their embroidered clan badge is heraldically incorrect. There should not be a wreath under the coronet and the bird looks nothing like a swan. Check the badge Facebook Edmonstone Clan Society.

Jacob where are you in the US? Are you interested in taking on a role as Clan Commissioner for your State?
Jacob Edmisten
Malcolm, I am in South Carolina. I would be interested in that, and in learning more about what that would entail.

I can give you lots of information. Can I get a direct email address?
Jacob Edmisten
Absolutely. It is jedmisten@miraclehill.org
