Update from The WANDERING SCOTS BOOK CLUB - It sounds like most folks in the book club have completed our first book selection "Bone Rattler". It is a great read and the banter has been really awesome! But even if you haven't read "Bone Rattler" you can still join in on the next part of the journey - it's open to everyone! HERE'S WHAT COMES NEXT! Wandering Scots Book Club On Air Discussion Panel We are looking for 3 great Wandering Scots Book Club readers to join our first panel discussion with Bone Rattler author Eliot Pattison, Dr. Tanja Bueltmann, author of The Scottish Diaspora and indigenous peoples scholar Scott Perez. The panel will be discussing some of the topics that have been raised in the book club so far and a few new twists and turns during our first On Air Discussion Panel. Here is how it works: DATE: Saturday, February 8th TIME: 11:00am EST PANEL: A mixed panel of academic and literary experts and 4 of our book club readers discussing aspects of Scottish American culture and experience as revealed and interpreted in "Bone Rattler". The Panel Discussion will be broadcast live via YouTube and Book Club members as well as members of the general public will be able to ask real time questions and offer comments and ideas to the Panel via chat and Q/A functions. Plus, the entire session will be recorded and available on line if you just cannot make the live session on February 8th. We understand so it'll be there for you whenever you are ready! SO MARK YOUR CALENDARS for a great opening discussion on Saturday, February 8th at 11:00am EST. NOW, all we need are 4 courageous, fun loving, adventurous Wandering Scots Book Clubbers who have finished Bone Rattler to volunteer to join our discussion panel. Step up and VOLUNTEER right here.
