Again it is I Robert Ayers of San Diego Ca. USA. We have exchanged emails previously only once concerning my hereditary listing in your clan Septs under the family name Ayer. When last we spoke via email, you had admitted my family being in the Septs in fact and that even you could not without further research answer the question: why? These past 3 months I have been hoping a reply from you. I am a united states citizen however a man mostly of Scottish heredity and quite proud to consider myself Scottish. I am an active member of the house of Scotland here in Balboa Park San Diego, our local vergence of Scottish tradition and pride. I believe (by my research) to be of the Hay clan sir......and want to know how and why. This as the county of Ayre is far from Hay territory.
I have recently applied to the clan Hay society for membership and would appreciate your help in answering my one question if you indeed can? Our clan was unrepresented at out local Scottish games last year, perhaps next no! Robert Ayers, oftheayers@gmail.com
