Wayne McCormick

Raised in the country where the woods and streams were my playground. Learned to shoot at age 7, taught by my grandfather. Worked for a year in building trades after graduation from high school, joined the US Air Force in 1962 at age 17 and stayed until 1974. Studied electronic engineering technology at University of Maryland, dropped out after 2 years, Could not find a job in the electronics industry, so took a job driving trucks. Did that for 32+ years. Part of that time was spent driving for the Post Office, from where I retired in 2000. Went back to driving part time until 2006, when I retired permanently. My duties in the Air Force took me to many places around the world, where I really got an education. I spent 3 years in the UK, 2 more in the Far East, and traveled all around the Pacific Rim, Europe, and Asia. Have a lot of good memories stored away.
