Unfortunately, there were many Archibald Stewarts born in 1650. That's the trouble with - and the fun of - genealogy. Getting all these people straight! Do you know where he was born? What his siblings were named? Who he married, or who his mother was?

Sinclair is my name. (my married name is Stokes) I am decended from Rev Charles Stewart. Down the line a Stewart married a Sinclair. My Stewart line is very interesting. I am interested in the history of Scotland, but have yet to learn the customs. Thanks for the info. Are you from Scotland??
