not yet, he is expected at 10am and we will have it complete by 2pm, THEN we hope to have some relief. my son was able to find us 2 portable evap coolers until then so the house is now at a comfortable 78 degrees vs. 98 yesterday.

Yes, I guess we are, but do you remember the time before A/C became wide spread? The only way you could escape the heat was in a store or the movies. LOL

yes, I was born here in Phx, AC was pretty much invented by a company Goettl here in Phx in 1960. I was born in 1959, it was only for the wealthy and we weren't.
